Nog was a Ferengi Starfleet officer from the 24th century.
He was the first Ferengi to serve in Starfleet after been sponsored by Benjamin Sisko and accepted into the Starfleet Academy in 2372.[1][2]
In 2375, Nog lost his leg in combat. It was replaced by a biosynthetic limb.[3][4]
Alternate realities[]
In an alternate universe where the Dominion won the Dominion War, Nog was killed onboard the Defiant when it destroyed engaging the Dominion fleet in the Bajoran wormhole during Operation Return.[5]
