The Grendoq-class was a type of attack fighter fielded by the Klingon Empire during the 24th century.[1] It was also known as the Dagger-class by the Federation Starfleet.[2]
The Grendoq had a similar design to the larger B'rel-class bird-of-prey. It had a rounded forward section that contained the cockpit, which joined directly to the aft section containing the impulse engine. It had a pair of downward sloping wings that had a large disruptor cannon mounted just before the tip of each wing.[2]
The Grendoq lacked any heavy weapons, such as full sized photon torpedoes. This meant they posed a limited threat to larger starships.[2]

Background information[]
- The Grendoq-class comes from the SRMV3: Ships of the Klingon Empire and is described as appearing to be a one man sized version of the bird-of-prey. The Dagger-class is the standard Klingon fighter from Star Trek: Armada 3, which also looks like a small BOP. The connection that they are the same class is made purely in Star Trek: The Farthest Star.
