Benzar was a planet located in the Benzite system. Benzar was a member of the Federation and the homeworld of the Benzites.
The atmosphere of Benzar differed from that of an class M planet such that the Benzites required respiration devices when visiting other planets.[1]
During the Dominion War Benzar was conquered by the Dominion. It was later liberated by by the Romulan Star Empire.[2]
